The 10K PlaneSkate
The (3rd Generation) 10K PlaneSkate is the fastest and safest way of clearing a disabled aircraft with a flat tire from a hard surface runway, taxiway, or ramp without having to go through the time consuming process of jacking, removing and replacing the tire, brake assembly, or even mess with wheel fairings. The 10K PlaneSkate reduces unnecessary runway closure time and takes only minutes to load and clear. This saves lost runway time making your airport and the traffic pattern safer faster.
The 10K PlaneSkate is made of quarter inch solid steel plates with eight (8) 1500 lbs. heavy-duty casters (6,000 lbs. per landing gear leg), making this durable platform capable of moving most aircraft with a gross weight of 10,000 lbs. and less.
The 75K PlaneSkate
The overall size of the 75K PlaneSkate is 5' wide and 9' long with the tray size of 35" wide and 52" long, not including the ramp. Built and designed to take on the big jobs, this tool weighs in at just over 2300 lbs. and is designed to easily handle 75,000 lb. GW. aircraft and less.
Constructed with high grade 1/4 & 1/2 inch steel, formed and welded, the 75K PlaneSkate rolls on 10 - 7500 lb. capacity Hamilton dual casters and is supported with a Warn 79350 Super Duty Series 18-A-2D 18,000 pull Military grade winch to assist in the loading.
